About Me
Hi! My name is Charles Skyles. I was born and raised in Rolla, Mo. In the fall of 2015 I moved to St. Joseph, MO to start my college career at Missouri Western State University. In December of 2018 I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Cinema with a concentration in Cinema.
I have had the opportunity to be involved on a few TV shows, such as Bargain Mansions, Man vs Food, and DNA of Murder with Paul Holes, as production assistant. While on these sets I had the chance to learn valuable skills.
While in St. Joseph I also had to opportunity to be in a few shows at Robidoux Resident Theater and on Missouri Western’s stage. At Robidoux I got to portray Danny in I’ll be Home for Christmas and at Missouri Western I got to portray Basil in The Marriage of Figaro and a servant/soldier in Macbeth.
Currently I am working at KOLR10/KRBK in Springfield, MO as a lifestyle producer. Before moving down to Springfield for work I worked at KQTV in St. Joseph where I began as a Technical Media Producer/Director until I moved to being a news producer.
